Welcome to UA Local 112

Since 1893, The Plumber and Pipefitters Union Local 112 has been serving the Southern Tier for over 100 years.  We take our role in the community very seriously.  We take great pride in our Apprentice Training Program.  It is one of the most comprehensive training programs of it's kind anywhere in the country.

Our five-year program of classroom and on-the-job training covers all phases of plumbing, heating, welding, and air conditioning along guidelines set by the State of New York and the US Department of Labor.  Our instructors conduct their classes in modern facilities on state-of-the-art equipment.  Individual attention and guidance are given high priority.  Strict codes of performance are learned from the start of training and are monitored in the field by journeymen during each apprentice's on-the-job training experiences.  Local 112 maintains these high training standards to ensure that skilled, efficient, and productive journeymen plumbers and Pipefitters are always available - to serve the community's needs.

Individual attention and guidance are given high priority.  Strict codes of performance are learned from the start of training and are monitored in the field by journeymen during each apprentice's on-the-job training experiences.  Check out our Apprenticeship page for details.

We received a new flag on Friday afternoon May 22, brother Dan Spencer is a US Army veteran who served our nation in  Afghanistan, proudly stopped by on his way home from work to erect the new flag that day. We thank Dan for reacting on a moments call and give thanks to all our members who have served our country.
